More details were released about the game in the official french Playstation Magazine and the article highlighted a number of key features that we’ve roughly translated including:

• New camera angle will be noticeably closer to the ground


• New menu interface appears to be simpler and more ergonomic than before


• Integration of the ‘Impact Engine’ which properly tracks contact between players


• Pro Player Intelligence will try to eliminate blind passing, if a pass is attempted to a player that cannot be seen on the screen it is highly likely that the pass will not be completed


• The AI should become more human and play on their strengths whilst also acting more carefully with the ball when highly skilled players come towards them


• Using the ‘B’ or ‘A’ buttons to follow a player will now support a feature where if the button is double tapped the player will attempt an interception.


• Integration of a new short dribble with the left stick


• New presentation looks inspired by English games by introducing more colours


• Location of an injury will be shown by the player grabbing the part of his body that is injured


• Three new arenas


• Integration of benches along the sidelines


• New lighting effects
